冬の寒い日には、温かい飲み物を楽しみながら、ゆっくりリラックスしたいものですね。 とはいえ、温かい飲み物と聞いて、ビールを連想することはあまりないかもしれません。が、今年はそんな考えを改めることになるでしょう！
去年は数種類のホットビールを皆さんにお楽しみいただきましたが、新しいフレーバーを加えて、ホットビールが今年も戻ってきました！ ヴァイスをベースにしたフルーツタイプのホット・ビール、そしてドンケルをベースにしたホット・ココナッツ・ビールを是非今年もお楽しみください。
そして、今年新しく登場するホット・ビールをご紹介します。今回は、ホット・バタード・ラム、そしてスパイスド・ラムというカクテルにヒントを得て、ホット・ビールを作りました。この2つのカクテルの良いところを取り入れたのが、新しい「ホット・バタード・ドンケル・ラム」です。シナモン、ジンジャーなど数種類のスパイスをバターに混ぜ、温めたドンケルに加え、スピリッツ、つまり今回はラムをブレンドします。従来のホット・バタード・ラムでは、バターとラムをお湯に溶かしますが、今回はドンケルを使うことで、本当に美味しいホットビールが出来ました。
お湯の代わりにビールを使う手法は他のドリンクにも幅広く応用できるため、ノン・アルコールタイプをご希望の方には、ノン・アルコールタイプのブラックビールを使った「ホット・スパイスド・ブラックビール」をお楽しみいただけます。ノン・アルコールをご希望の方だけでなく、是非すべてのお客様にお楽しみいただきたいほどの、非常に美味しいホット・ビールになりました。新しい「ホット・スパイスド・アップル・ラム」も、同じようにして作ったホット・ビール。小樽ビールが作ったアップルサイダーを使った、酸味の効いたバタード・ラムです。ノン・アルコールをご希望の方には、もちろんラムの入っていない「ホット・スパイスド・アップル・サイダー」をご用意しています。アルコールは一切入っていない上、非常に美味しいホットドリンクですので、お食事中お子さまにお召し上がりいただくのにもピッタリです。
これらの冬季限定ホット・ビールは、2月末までお楽しみいただける予定です。ご希望があれば3月中旬までご提供します！

Hot Beer
During the cold days of Winter, Hot drinks can be really warming and great way to sit back and enjoy oneself. When people think of hot drinks, Beer is not usually one of the drinks that comes to mind, but let 2013 be the year that we changed your thinking!
Last year we came up with several Hot Beers that were fantastic and allowed everyone to have a delicious Hot Beer. This year they are back with some new flavors. Our fruit-flavored beers are based on Weiss Beer with the exception of our Hot Coconut Beer which is based on Dunkel.
The new beers for this year are inspired from Hot Buttered Rum and Spiced Rum. We have taken these delicious hot cocktails and taken the best of both of them and made Hot Buttered Dunkel Rum. We first make a delicious spiced compound butter with spices such as Cinnamon and Ginger among other flavors. Then we heat Otaru Beer Dunkel and blend this together with the Spirit of our choice, in this case, Rum. In traditional Hot Buttered Rum, you mix butter with rum and hot water. Here we have replaced the hot water with hot Dunkel Beer and have for you a fabulous Hot Beer.
This technique works with a number of different drinks and therefore, if you would like a Hot Non-Alcohol Beer, we are also going to be serving Hot Spriced Butter Black Beer (Non-Alcohol). This is so delicious, the fact that it is non-alcohol should not keep you from ordering it! It IS that good! One more drink that we have made using this technique is Hot Spiced Apple Rum. Using Otaru Beer’s Apple Cider, we have made a very tart spiced buttered rum as well. Then for our friends who need a non-alcoholic version, we have that as well. Spiced Hot Apple Cider. There is no alcohol of any kind and it too is extremely delicious and you can feel safe in allowing your children to drink this with you while dining at Leibspeise!
These Hot Beer Cocktails will be available during the Winter Season, probably until the end of February, or if you ask us, probably until the middle of March!
