先日Leibspeiseでは、2013年の新しいメニューが始まりました。次回のご来店の際に皆さんに新メニューをお楽しみいただけるよう、今回新しく登場したアイテムをいくつかご紹介したいと思います！
4月の季節のビールは、ヘレスです。
ヘレスは、1800年代のチェコに由来をもつピルスナーのミュンヘン版といったところですが、バイエルン地方の他のビールと同様に、モルトの味わいが強いため、ヘレスと供に楽しむお料理には、比較的個性の強いものが好まれました。バイエルン地方の他のお料理を見てみると、ドンケルやヴァイスなどのビールによく合う、ヘビーなお料理が多いことがわかると思います。Leibspeiseの「グリル・カプリ・サラダ」も、そんなヘビーなお料理のひとつです。モッツァレラチーズの厚めのスライスにチミチュリソースをかけ、半分に切ったチェリートマトをのせたら、美味しい自家製ビネグレットソースをかけます。そして、モッツァレラがアツアツにとろけて、ハーブやドレッシングと味がなじむまで、オーブンで焼き上げます。こんな個性の強い美味しさには、個性の強いビールが必要ですが、もちろんヨハネス・ブラウンが作り出すヘレスがぴったりです！ぜひこの美味しいサラダと美味しいヘレスの組み合わせを楽しみに、Leibspeiseに足をお運びください！ご来店は是非お早めに！数量限定のヘレスは、売り切れ次第提供終了となります。万が一ヘレスが売切れの際には、ヴァイスかドンケルでグリル・カプリ・サラダをお楽しみください。

New Menu Item Introduction: Grilled Capri Salad
This past week, Leibspeise introduced a new menu and so we thought it would be a good idea to pickup some of the newest items on this menu and do a short introduction of them so that you would better know what you could order when you come by!
This month, the seasonal beer is Helles Beer! This beer was the München answer to the Pilsner Beer which came out of the Czech Republic in the Mid-1800’s. As with most of the Bavarian Beers, it is fairly heavy with malt characters and therefore needs fairly assertive foods to compensate. If you look at a lot of Bavarian food, it is generally on the heavy side and generally matches with the Bavarian Beers such as Dunkel, Hefe Weiss, etc. The Grilled Capri Salad at Leibspeise is a food item with these characters as well. We take slabs of Mozzarella Cheese and top it with Chimichurri Sauce and halved Cherry Tomatoes and then topped again with our own lovely Vinaigrette Salad dressing. Then we grill this in our oven until the Mozzarella has been melted and begun to meld the flavors of the herbs and various dressings. It is an assertive dish that needs an assertive beer! Johannes Braun’s Helles Beer fits the bill! Try these two together for the next few weeks, but hurry, because you never know who quickly our seasonal beer will sell out! If there is no Helles left when you get here, I would suggest our Hefe Weiss or the Dunkel to go with our Grilled Capri Salad!
