Brewing Style

Otaru Slow Brew Organic is an all-malt beer produced with organically grown malt and hops. 

It is brewed in a particularly “Slow Brew” style, including a 4-hour decoction mashing program and a two-week, bottom fermentation at very low temperatures and a 6-week maturation (Lager) period at temperatures below freezing. 

This cold, long maturation process gives Otaru Slow Brew Organic Beer its wonderfully smooth taste and its outstanding foam.
